Baseball:
LBCC Athletics and KLBC.org team up to webcast seven more games this season
The Long Beach City College athletic department has teamed up with campus internet radio station KLBC.org to provide seven live webcasts of LBCC baseball games as the Vikings continue their road to the postseason.
LBCC baseball fans will be able to listen to live play-by-play action online at www.klbc.org.
Viking baseball made its debut on KLBC.org on March 20 with its 7-3 win over College of the Desert. With the success of the first webcast, the following games are scheduled to be streamed live:
Thur., April 3, at Cerritos, 2:30 pm
Sat., April 5, vs. Cerritos, 12 pm
Thur., April 10, vs. Compton, 2:30 pm
Sat., April 12, vs. El Camino, 12 pm
Sat., April 19, vs. Mt. San Antonio, 12 pm
Tue., April 22, vs. East L.A., 2:30 pm
Sat., April 26 vs. L.A. Harbor, 12 p.m.
Possible postseason contests will also likely be added to the schedule.
KLBC’s “Wes the Sports Guy” handles play-by-play duties with color commentary from Jason Reed.

LBCC and KLBC.org look to add more live sports webcasts for next year, including football and basketball. |
