Football:
2005 LBCC football schedule now posted online
The start of the 2005 Long Beach City College football season is just around the corner. The upcoming season schedule is now available for viewing online.
Third-year Head Coach Jerry Jaso’s Vikings will look to defend their Mission Conference American Division championship beginning on September 3 at Ventura College.
Long Beach opens up its home schedule at Veterans Memorial Stadium the following week when it hosts Moorpark College on September 10.
Other games of note: LBCC hosts rival Cerritos College on October 1 and the Vikings open up American Division play on October 15 at home against Mt. San Antonio College.
The Vikings compiled a 7-5 record overall in 2004 as they won a share of the American Division title and were champions of the Mission Conference American Bowl.
