Viking Huddle Club returns in 2008, help support LBCC football this season
The Long Beach City College Foundation Viking Huddle Club is making a return for the 2008 season and is looking for new members to help support the LBCC football program this season.
The Viking Huddle Club’s goals are to support Long Beach City College and its football program through encouraging attendance at games, fundraising, and uniting the community of Long Beach.
The Huddle Club will meet six times during the season at Tracy’s (5511 E. Spring St., Long Beach): September 4, 11, 25, October 9, 30, and November 6. Meetings are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
The membership fee is $30 for couples or individuals. Members receive two passes to all LBCC home football games.
The upcoming 2008 season will be memorable.
Mike Reisbig will begin his first season as head coach under the Vikings after serving as an assistant for 16 years. LBCC will also be competing in the newly formed Southern California Football Association and will be a part of the highly competitive National Division Southern Conference. This year, LBCC celebrates the 80th anniversary of its first football team, the 1928 Vikings.
