Vikings earn seven All-MFC American Division honors
Long Beach City College sophomore corner back Ryan Howard, sophomore defensive lineman Dominic Chevalier, and freshman outside linebacker Jonte Stroud were named first-team All-Mission Football Conference American Division at the postseason coaches meeting on Tuesday at LBCC.
Long Beach totaled seven all-conference honors, with the defense earning six.
Sophomore guard Carlos Chang was named second-team offense and was the lone Viking to earn an offensive honor.
Vikings on the second-team defense include sophomore defensive lineman Jeremiah Toloumu, and defensive back Junior Fasavalu.
Howard was also honored for a second time, being named second-team punt returner.
Long Beach closed its season last Saturday with a 41-17 loss to Palomar. The Vikings compiled a 3-7 overall record and were 0-5 in American Division play.
