Men’s Cross Country:
Long Beach finishes in seventh place at SCC Championships
The Long Beach City College men’s cross country team totaled 190 points to finish in seventh place out of eight teams at the South Coast Conference Championships on Friday at Columbia Park in Torrance.
The Vikings failed to qualify as a team for next week’s Southern California Regional Championships.
Freshman Jaylon Martin led the Vikings with his 33rd place finish. He cleared the 4.0 mile course with a time of 22:29.
Sophomore Rolland Hall was also among the top 50, as he finished in 43rd place at 23:15.

Mt. San Antonio College won the team championship with 39 points and El Camino’s Steven Calise was the men’s winner with a time of 20:58. |
