Vikings' Ware qualifies for two events at SoCal Finals
Long Beach City College sophomore sprinter Jared Ware will be the Vikings’ lone representative at this weekend’s Southern California finals. The event is set for this Saturday (May 12) at UC San Diego.
Ware sped to the third-best qualifying time in the 200 meters at last Saturday’s SoCal prelims, clocking in at 21.24. His time of 10.70 in the 100 was fourth to also earn him a finals spot.
The 4 x 400 relay team ran 3:26.12 and the 4 x 100 squad posted 44.65 but did not qualify for the regional finals. |
