Women’s Water Polo:
LBCC set to host 10th annual Battle at the Beach tourney
The 10th annual truWest Battle at the Beach women’s water polo tournament is set to begin on Friday (Oct 19) at Long Beach City College and Cypress College.
The two-day event features an expanded 18-team field this year. Seven of those teams are currently ranked among the state’s top 10.
Admission is free, although normal parking restrictions will be enforced.
Last year, Riverside went 4-0 and downed Long Beach 10-6 in the final to win the team championship.
